What is X-Clubs?

New Plymouth is one of the 50 or so other clubs in NZ that use and deal Bridge hands generated by X-Clubs. This means that the same hands are played across the country at the same time, and you are able to see how you scored in a field of hundreds rather than tens of other players.

Use the link below to go to the CompassMate and X-Clubs website, where you'll find not only the monthly and weekly results for all X-Clubs, but also a host of information, including blogs and analysis of hands. Look at the Ladder or overall results to see how you did against the other X-Clubs.

You can opt to register to receive free Pianola reports of your results after every game. Pianola is a comprehensive hand analysis tool. The Pianola website stores players' history and analyses their performance over time.

X-Club provides a handicapping system (called XG handicaps) which enables players to be handicapped against other clubs. This can be very beneficial for interclub competitions.
