AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
New AED now available at TSB Bridge House, Hobson Street
❤️ Great news for our Hobson Street community! The New Plymouth Bridge Club has teamed up with Taranaki Hockey, Taranaki Cricket and Victoria League to purchase an AED. It is located outside TSB Bridge House, by the front door, and is available for public use.
If someone suffers a sudden cardiac arrest, call 111 to unlock the unit and receive guidance. The AED provides clear voice instructions to help responders while emergency services are on the way.
With so many people visiting Hobson Street for hockey, cricket, bridge and other community activities, having a defibrillator close by could make a life-saving difference.
A big thank you to everyone involved for helping make our shared community spaces safer. We hope it’s never needed, but we’re grateful it’s there. 🙌
