Welcome to the New Plymouth Contract Bridge Club.
Our mission is to provide an enjoyable bridge playing experience for all levels of players and to encourage all players to further develop their skills in a friendly, competitive and challenging social atmosphere.
Whether you are new to the game of bridge or have been playing for many years, our club has something that will suit you.

Junior Grade

From the 1st of November Compass$$ will be live. No more worrying about cash or cards to pay for your club sessions.
You will notice a new link on the menu bar "Compa$$", with relevant information.
Today Sarah became the NP club's 4th Silver GM. Congratulations.
On Wednesday evening we welcomed the Class of 23 to our club. Our new members were mixed up with more experienced players for an enjoyable evening of bridge.
Released ranking from NZBA of the top 20 in each rating division for the first 3 months, featured 7
New Plymouth players.
Rating points are based on previous history and are calculated from the sum of A and B points earned
Silver GM: (2,500 pts including at least 1250 A pts) Pam Livingston 10th
Grand Master: (1,000 pts, including at least 500 A pts) Colin Carryer 10th
Life Master: (500pts including at least 250A pts) Lynne O'Shaughnessy 17th
Master: (200 including at least 100 A pts) Christine Burton 9th
Pam Livingston has been selected to represent New Zealand at the world Teams Championships in Marrakech.
We are so proud of you Pam.
Prize giving yesterday was followed by a session of fun bridge with donations going towards President Deane's chosen charity, the Women's Refuge. Jim, the Sherrif, boosted the funds through his many fines. Lesley from the Women's Refuge explained their role and gave and insight of some of the issues facing families
